Health and Wellbeing in Education is unique in bringing together both the health care and education sectors with the aim of improving the health and wellbeing of children and young people. Offering high quality conference programmes that are free of charge to attend, it successfully attracts influential decision makers from a variety of settings that include pre-school, primary, secondary and specialist schools, children's centres, extended schools, further education, youth provision as well as community organisations. The 2009 inaugural conference and exhibition firmly laid the foundations for a strong and credible annual event that has already proved its ability as a successful marketing tool.

The Facts:

  • 1788 delegates attended over the two days of the 2009 event from a variety of education, local authority and health care settings (includes press)
  • 25% came from secondary/further education, 19% from primary schools, 10% from pre-school, 8% from specialist education, 9% from local government and 19% from PCTs/other health care settings
  • Just under 100 exhibitors took part in the inaugural event
  • 75% of visitors spent over two hours in the exhibition hall and 28% returned the next day for more!
  • 82% of visitors said it was very/extremely relevant to their job
